After a year and a half of searching, we finally signed the lease on a property last week. We are now located at 12 Northgate Street, Ipswich (opposite Groove nightclub).
We've started work right away and will be getting the shop ready for you to visit as soon as possible. Our uniforms are about to be made and we're now accepting applications to work with us.
So if you'd enjoy working in a fun environment where customer service is of the utmost importance you can email us at rarasipswich@gmail.com to request an application form.

Who moved those goalposts?

Apologies for taking so long to get around to a second update.
A lot has happened since November. Whilst waiting to hear about the outcome of our change of use application for our original premises, we decided to have a look at another location just to keep our options open. Not two days later, in late January, we received the news that our application had been rejected! Our vision was obviously not shared with Ipswich Borough Council!
The second property we had viewed quickly became discounted as an option since the owners wanted money that we simply couldn't afford. Despair attempted to take a hold of us at this point - after months of scouring Ipswich for a property with A3 usage and having limited choice in the first instance, we now seemed to have none at all.
However, within that same week, a last ditch attempt search provided us with renewed hope. We went to view the property with an open mind, since it didn't immediately strike us as a location to consider. We came away from that first visit feeling that we might just have found what we had been looking for but too scared to get our hopes up.
It would appear that our feelings were justified, as we are now obtaining the final quotes for the property refit and having the legalities drawn up. Next week we will be rolling into the bank in all our business-like, suited glory and begging them to fund our dream. If that fails, don't be surprised if you see us on the front of the local paper carrying swag bags!
